There are two programmes on offer:

A WALK THROUGH PREM’S PAST

We invite you to Prem, a village on a ridge above the River Reka, at the edge of the Brkini hills, which is of both geographical and cultural interest. At one end of the village stands the church of St. Helen, and at the other Prem Castle, which was built in the 12th century. Prem is also known as the birthplace of Dragotin Kette and there is a memorial room dedicated to him in the old village school.

TASTE THE TRADITION OF THE BRKINI

Take a walk through Prem’s past and taste the specialities of the Brkini hills. The Brkini are well known for producing high quality fruit, especially apples and plums. Try some typical brandy, home-made apple juice, honey, plum jam or dried fruit.
