MUSEUMS ON A SUMMER NIGHT

The third Saturday in June is traditionally reserved for the so-called Museums on a Summer Night – a joint campaign involving Slovenian museums, galleries and other cultural institutions, which open their doors wide on this particular day. On this summer’s night of museums, the doors of Prem Castle will be open until late at night. Entry and participation in the event are free. You’re all very welcome to visit Prem!

In addition to Prem Castle, you will be able to see other collections that are either owned by the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica or owned by private individuals who carefully collect and preserve movable cultural heritage.

They say that the night has its own power, so we invite you to join us again this year and get to know the stories from the past.
