In the conference hall there is an exhibition of artworks by the artist Dušan Premrl (1937–2008), who was born in Žiri and lived and worked in Bistrica pri Tržiču. Some of his works, which were donated to the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica by his family, have been put on display on the castle.
